It's Been A While

Wow, it has been a while since I posted. So much has happened.

Taylor is officially over with Ethan (yeah) and is on boyfriend number 2 already. This one is a professional BMX rider and seems to be a good guy. Boyfriend #1 dumped her because he wasn't "ready for a baby". Probably should have thought of that at first, since she makes it VERY clear being a mom is number one in her life.

Bill and I had a "talk" with Taylor about the way she was living. (ie her sloppyness and overall lack of caring about our house) and she seems to be giving it real effort this time. I slapped her in the Walmart parking lot for her mouth so that seems to be doing well too. I think she finally figured out that we were almost ready to kick her ass to the curb, baby or not, so she got with the program. Plus, we are all she has and I think that finally sunk in.

Aaron is doing great in school. He is constantly having problems with bullies but seems to be holding his own.

Bill and Jordan are with the band in NY this week. I couldn't go because of my health so Aaron decided he didn't want to go either. He is now regretting that decision so hopefully in the future he won't let me tie him down.

Doctor told me this week that I can't even sweep or mop the floor anymore. My neck is in a constant state of decline so I have to accept that if I want to be able to enjoy life, I have to acknowledge my limitations. So - I will be more than likely hiring a house keeper. Lets face it - relying on Bill or the kids to do it is a fantasy that is never going to happen. I was in bed for three days for mopping the kitchen so something has to change.

I try not to let it get me down but there are things that are more important than mopping the floor.. Like sex for instance. I simply will NOT give that up so changes must be made!

I will try to blog more often. I have lots of things inside me that I need to get out, I just sometimes have problems sharing them. I will work on that.

I know you guys aren't going to believe this, but things are actually going good with Taylor.

She is still living at home but now is working at Sonnys Real Pit BBQ. We are going to be looking for a car for her in the next week or so. She doesn't like to talk to Ethan because she can't stand the drama. AND she is becoming more patient with Kade and is not biting my head off everytime I say something to her.

It all came to a head about a week ago when she was back talking me. I told her if it didn't stop and she didn't straighten up that she needed to find a new place to live. Considering she has no where else to go I guess that got through to her.

Don't get me wrong, my house is still just as chaotic, even more so now that Kade is climbing, crawling and almost walking. He also has decided the louder he is the more he likes it and thinks it is funny. But things are going much smoother and we are much better off for it.

William seems to be stressing out from the situation at work however, so things have been extremely tense between the two of us lately. He has little to no tolerance of Taylor and seems to think she needs to be repeatedly punished for past mistakes. It is becoming quite a problem and my patience is growing shorter and shorter every day. Time will tell where this new development leads.

I decided to blog today to see if anyone is still out there reading. If not, I will probably stop. Or maybe not. I seem to feel better when I get things off of my chest.
